Super Teacher ProgrammeFor B.Ed collegesFor schools, colleges & organisations

Teach the experience first. Then open the textbook.

The Super Teacher Programme is Laarish’s teacher-development programme. It trains teachers to design and run experiential lessons — the psychology of how children learn by doing, the tools, the book and the method — so that a child grows the plant, observes it, sketches it, and only then opens the chapter that describes what they already know.

Founding cohort 2027 — open to B.Ed colleges and institution teams.

Why the Super Teacher Programme

Teaching has changed faster than teacher training.

Every board now asks teachers for competency-based questions, skill periods, project work and inquiry-led lessons. CBSE alone asks every teacher for fifty hours of training a year, half of it run in-house by the school (CBSE, April 2025), and named experiential, inquiry-based teaching as its annual theme. Most teachers were trained to deliver a chapter well. Very few were trained to design the experience that should come before it. The Super Teacher Programme fills that gap with practice, not theory: teachers learn by running real units with real tools, and leave able to make any lesson an experience.

Two ways in

For B.Ed colleges

Send your graduates out able to run a lesson no textbook can.

Why

A B.Ed graduate who has designed and run one experiential unit with children walks into a school interview with something no mark sheet shows. Schools are looking for exactly that teacher.

What runs

Laarish provides the college with experiential projects — each a set of modules combined around one theme, with the physical tools, the phygital books and the method — that student-teachers run with school children before they graduate. While running them, they learn the psychology of how children learn by doing and the vocabulary of experiential teaching, by doing it.

The college gets

The Laarish experiential projects and tools on campus, a distinctive hands-on elective, a demo day for faculty, and graduates who leave with the Super Teacher Programme certificate.

For schools, colleges and organisations

Your teachers run it. We make them ready.

Why

In-house training hours are already on the calendar. The question is whether they change what happens in the classroom on Monday. Training that ends with a teacher having run a real unit does.

What runs

When we partner with a school, a private college or an organisation, we bring the Experiential Learning Curriculum and train your teachers in the psychology and the practice behind it — the loop, the tools, the book, assessment by evidence — so they can run it themselves. Teams of teachers from one institution train together, so the practice continues in the staffroom. Teachers can also go deeper and earn the Super Teacher Programme certificate.

The institution gets

A trained team that runs the Experiential Learning Curriculum and the Entrepreneurship Programme without an outside facilitator, the tools and books to run them, and training that fits the in-house hours the boards already ask for.

What you learn

  • How children actually learn by doing

What the teacher practises: The psychology behind curiosity, prediction and surprise — why experience must come before explanation

  • The Laarish loop

What the teacher practises: Running Inspire → Explore → Record → Reflect in a 40-minute period and an 80-minute double period

  • Designing a unit from a chapter

What the teacher practises: Turning one textbook chapter into one experience: the question, the build, the evidence, the reflection

  • Tools, safety and the room

What the teacher practises: Running the maker’s tray and profession tools with 30 children, age-graded, with no lab

  • The phygital book and the record

What the teacher practises: Reading what a child wrote, scanning it into the record, giving feedback that moves them

  • Assessment by evidence

What the teacher practises: Judging understanding from explanations, fresh questions and named uncertainty — not marks

How it starts

  1. A demo day.

Your teachers run a unit as learners with the tools in their hands, then teach one with us in the room.

  2. We plan the cohort together.

Format, dates and depth are agreed from what we saw on the demo day and what your institution needs.

  3. The Super Teacher Programme certificate.

Teachers who complete the programme and run a full unit receive the Super Teacher Programme certificate, issued by Laarish — and co-issued with partner institutions and bodies where a cohort is run together.

What you get

The teacher keeps

A unit they designed and ran, a session-plan library, the Super Teacher Programme certificate

The institution gets

A trained team, the tools and books to run experiential units, a demo day, and priority access to the Laarish curricula and Kannada editions

A demo day for your faculty

One day: the loop run live with your teachers as learners, the books and tools in their hands, the app journey, then planning the cohort.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the programme?

It starts with a demo day. From what we see there, we agree the format and the dates with you — the programme is shaped to your team, not the other way round.

Can a single teacher join?

Yes. Write to us and we will place you in the next open batch.

Does it fit our teachers’ annual training hours?

Sessions run at your institution and are designed to fit the in-house training hours the boards ask for.

Which subjects is it for?

Any. The method, the tools and the books work for science, maths, social science and languages alike; every teacher designs a unit from their own subject.

What does it cost?

It depends on what we agree on the demo day and on which services and products your institution needs from us.

We give the framework. You build the lesson.
